Well this year I have been persuaded to go skiing with a lovely group of friends, let’s hope I survive! We are off to Avoriaz.

I haven’t been skiing for at least 12 years and the last time I went I remember not liking it at all, I was unfit, fat and just found it so hard….I’m hoping for a totally different experience this time.

So, I’ve decided to put together a ski fit exercise session to help everyone.  I shall put this into a lovely video clip for you all to watch and follow as well.

It’s all about legs and lateral movements. All of these exercises can be done with or without weights.

  1. 10 x Burpees
  2. 10 x Squats
  3. 10 x Fwd Lunges
  4. 10 x Reverse Lunges
  5. 10 x Squat jump to lunge jump and repeat 10 x
  6. 10 x Lateral across a box
  7. 10 x Side Lateral Jumps
  8. 10 x Side Lateral Jumps across a box
  9. 10 x Side Squat Jumps
  10. 1 min Walk up Down Plank

Repeat the above 3 times
