Well this year I have been persuaded to go skiing with a lovely group of friends, let’s hope I survive! We are off to Avoriaz.
I haven’t been skiing for at least 12 years and the last time I went I remember not liking it at all, I was unfit, fat and just found it so hard….I’m hoping for a totally different experience this time.
So, I’ve decided to put together a ski fit exercise session to help everyone. I shall put this into a lovely video clip for you all to watch and follow as well.
It’s all about legs and lateral movements. All of these exercises can be done with or without weights.
- 10 x Burpees
- 10 x Squats
- 10 x Fwd Lunges
- 10 x Reverse Lunges
- 10 x Squat jump to lunge jump and repeat 10 x
- 10 x Lateral across a box
- 10 x Side Lateral Jumps
- 10 x Side Lateral Jumps across a box
- 10 x Side Squat Jumps
- 1 min Walk up Down Plank
Repeat the above 3 times
